Hi, I’m Asher! I love to colorfully depict alternative themes in my work, giving a voice to those who often do not get a chance to speak. My goal is to entice the viewer to think deeper about what they consume, sharing the canvas with them to tell their story, too.

My work aims to make people think twice. I want to create something that makes you uncomfortable, in a familiar way. I grew up in Southern California and Charleston, and those two places were vastly different. I learned from California how to be a people pleaser, and Charleston helped me unlearn that. I always loved to draw, but started to take it seriously when I was around 12. I drew every day on whatever I could, and after all those years of work I ended up here!
